Hmm the skin itself wasn't cleaned, actually, through PS. It rather is a light effect... and my brother's skin is quite clean in fact.

Hmm... I like it, but I think it would look more angelic with a softer lighting source.

What kind of equipment are you using?

Well... to be honest, I thought I could use a softer lightning... but I realized that... I wasn't wanting to take the picture of a perfect angel, I needed something to make it rougher. My brother and I had several, bloody fights... in the past, and most of his face's scars are due to me ( and vice-versa for me  ), I emphasized them just a bit with a narrower lightning to give a tad more hardness to the face.

Then comes the not-so-angelic feeling.

Actually... as you may have heard it, I use a D70s + Nikkor AF 1.4D for the camera/lens system.
The lights used are desktop tweaked lights, actually. 60W + 40W, with handmade paper-cones to narrow or widen the spotlight. And then a bunch of luck.
